I've been using this security camera and I absolutely love it. The 180-degree Panoramic View, Digital Zoom Tracking, and Human Detection is very good. Most of all the 24 Hours fulltime continuous cloud recording for free for forever is a real money saver.

This is one of the most affordable 24 hour recording cameras that I have purchased. Will continue to purchase with every update. Sets up very quickly and gives a crisp picture.

This camera is easy to set up charge and use. Comes with the stuff to mount on the wall. It’s very entertaining to watch what happens when you’re gone! Nice quality. Will buy again!

Video quality and camera control is very good. Initial setup of the camera took more time than I expected even with a 2.4Ghz wifi connection.Also, app UI need more attention and I prefer a sdcard slot with an option to save 24hr data along with the cloud subscription.

One of the key things to note about this IP Security Cam is it is one of the few you can still use and monitor with a PC Desktop web browser, so many only support mobile apps, so if you want one with mobile apps and PC Desktop Browser support then Spotcam is your go to brand. The monitoring, alerts, two way voice, IR, and siren/alarm mode are awesome. They also give you 24 hours of cloud storage so you can always see the last 24 hours of what happened and have a history of trigger events. I am a huge fan of Spotcam and their newest Eva 2 is smaller and better than the original with excellent camera rotation and angling.

It’s confusing the Quick start book and if you go to the second section in the manual English,first I think is Chinese but certainly Asian in character, update 05/27/2021 two issues, first the camera does not pan down (vertical) enough to see lower than the camera level. I believe if you mount upside down and flip the video 180 degrees than I think it would be ok because it does raise high.Second if you slightly move the camera make sure that the power plug doesn’t move. 1/8 of an “ and it’s not attached for power purposes although by eye it looked to be ok and remember the power plug is in the rear. UPDATE 05/28/21 I don’t have any real issues that doesn’t have a reason to blame the camera. 1, intermittently you may have gaps in your cloud recording. I believe it is more of an internet issue and not a device issue. 2, If your desire is to look towards the floor more often than the ceiling then the flip and mount work fine. I can see what I need for my requirements.01/08/2022The only issues ( I may have mentioned) the plug to the camera will come out with the slightest movement (think cleaning under it).Take a piece of tape (electrical preferred because of strength & longevity) and “ butterfly” it around the plug, simular to an IV or blood test tape looks like a Breast Cancer Ribbon ( you should donate to your local charity)with the cord in the middle that’s the idea and it will hold.If you want to pan down vs the level of the camera mounting and higher is to mount upside down at a higher vantage point and “ flip 180” in the settings..Picture is great. Timeline captures 85-90% of the overnight in the cloud. Could be my connection. I also tried many times the SpotPro (this years) and although I had no problem with the setup or the live view. Did not have a problem selecting the free 7 days of cloud recording.Got the cloud timeline. Nothing recorded. Spoke with support. Got another, returned another nBought two more of these and I’m good

I thought I would need to be tech savvy to configure this but it was very convenient. Just downloaded the app, and easily connected via WiFi. It powers via usb which was very easy and the accessories it came with makes it easy to be placed anywhere. Love it. I get to see my pets anytime I want now.

過去24時間の無料クラウド録画が気に入っていて、これまで「HD-Pro」「FHD-Pro」と使ってきており、この「PT1」が3種類目のSpotCam。基本的には同じ場所を撮影し続けるのだが、たまにその上下左右を見たくなる時があるので、やはりパン・チルトはありがたい。あと、屋外使用で「画質：高」設定の場合「FHD-Pro」だと映像が途切れぎみになるが、「PT1」ではフリッカレス設定で「50Hz」「60Hz」以外に「屋外」も設定可能になったためか「画質：高」でも滑らかな映像で、改善されている。あとは、屋外で何年動いてくれるかが気になるところ

The camera is well built and does everything it’s supposed to do. Video quality is good in daytime and nighttime (good night vision), easy to setup and it’s phone app works well, can use Amazon Fire TV to access live view from the camera but not though Alexa phone app.Recording can be stored locally on SD card or store it freely on it’s cloud (free 1 day cloud storage).

This is an awesome security camera, very well made by Taiwanese SpotCam company. It’s full of great features from superb HD night vision, in full colour or bw, reaching 20m+, choice of various cloud based plans from free 24hr basic one to a whole year. The plans are very good value and in addition there is a 50% discount code in the box. There are various paid for AI options to help you filter the footage alerts eg. facial recognition, virtual wall/area scan selection, human or pet or missing object. Human tracking alerts are included as well as the huge menu of other features: siren, strobe or spotlight, two way conversation, scans, scheduling, email alerts etc etc. Everything is well thought out and with adjustable levels. I found that I needed to turn down all sensitivity and microphone level and turn on human tracking. The cam connects to Wi-Fi easily and has a decent range, you can use cable instead. I don’t have good broadband to connect and upload to the cloud service so I’m using a Kingston 256gb sd card (Taiwan made!) instead.Ok, so not everything is perfect: instructions, video instructions not great, account set up a little quirky with username and passwords, settings need time and some usage experience to sort out properly etc.Bottom line is… at this price range it’s an amazing piece of kit, the company support is excellent and friendly, everything is well made and designed and best of all it’s made in Taiwan! Buy with confidence and ask customer support for help and advice with setup if needed. Don’t bother with the highest HD cams, this has everything you will need and more! Good job SpotCam👍
